Gilching – 2016’s announced, start of construction is now: The development around the airport Oberpfaffenhofen continues. ASTO builts three more buildings in the Gilching South area. These will be the best among their peers in some discipline. The buildings arise in direct neighbourhood to pro-beam, the supply centre of the Hospital of the University of Munich (KUM) and Ultratronik.
ASTO invests a further 35 million euros and creates space for at least 600 future-oriented jobs. In this quarter, the development and production of nine technologies from the fields of trade fairs, energy, aerospace, robotics, mechanical engineering and medicine will take place. The three other buildings stand out among others through far-reaching sustainability standards. For example, by using an energy center with a combined heat and power unit (CHP), a CO2-reduced heat and cold supply is to be implemented. The insulation of the buildings is above the standards required today, which means that high energy efficiency is achieved.
This will make the “asto Park Gilching South” in the future a far more vibrant mixed-use. The high quality is demonstrated not only by the excellent traffic connections but also by the many green spaces within the district and the future asto parks.
